Rural women working together in a green herbal field

FOR EMPOWERING · WOMEN

From herbal training to beekeeping. Building livelihoods, one skill at a time.

We believe in the strength and resilience of rural women, and our initiatives are dedicated to empowering them through knowledge, skills, and self-reliance.

Over time, we have conducted several hands-on training programs focused on herbal raw material cleaning, grading, packing, nursery production, and value-added processes like pickle-making. These activities have not only helped women understand the herbal value chain but also opened up new livelihood opportunities within their own communities. By participating in these programs, women are gaining financial independence, building confidence, and becoming active contributors to their local economies.

A key highlight of our women-centric efforts is the focus on beekeeping. Through specialized workshops, women were trained in honey extraction, processing, and supply chain management, with an impressive 90% participation rate. Practical exposure visits to beekeeping sites further enhanced their understanding of the trade, encouraging many to explore it as a sustainable source of income. These programs are more than just skill development—they are steps toward a larger vision of creating informed, self-sufficient women leaders who drive long-term change at the grassroots level.
