Our efforts to uplift farmers begin with meaningful collaboration and official support.
We’ve conducted workshops with key government bodies such as the PCCF and DHO offices in Lucknow and Unnao, fostering discussions around medicinal plant cultivation, policy alignment, and on-ground needs. These interactions help strengthen trust between institutions and farmers, while also opening new channels for technical support, guidance, and recognition of grassroots work.
In collaboration with organizations like Dabur India Ltd., we’ve organized impactful CSR-based plantation programs where over 10,000 medicinal plants were distributed and cultivated by local farmers. Through chaupal-style village awareness sessions, farmers were encouraged to adopt herbal farming and introduced to the economic potential of cultivating medicinal plants on their own land. Along with awareness, herb identification and cultivation practices specific to local soil and climate were shared by experts, bridging the knowledge gap with hands-on insights.
To deepen learning, NMP FPCL arranged exposure visits to progressive farms like the Dabur Herbal Farm in Sandila. Farmers observed practical herbal farming techniques and received guidance directly from specialists in the field. These real-world experiences boosted their confidence, helping many farmers see herbal cultivation as a reliable income source. By blending formal training with grassroots exposure, we are helping farmers build stronger, more sustainable farming futures rooted in knowledge and self-belief.
